- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Orientation: Bi-weekly on Tuesdays
- Patient Population: Adults 18 and over
- Unit Focus: Behavioral health / forensic care environment
- Active Massachusetts RN license at the time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Experience working with mental health patients in a locked behavioral health setting
- Ability to administer medications using an automated dispensing system
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Handle With Care (HWC) certification, or willingness to complete it onsite if needed
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, trauma-informed approach
- BSN preferred
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult behavioral health and psychiatric patients
- Support patients with bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, major depression, substance use disorders, and chronic medical needs
- Administer medications accurately and monitor patient response
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, rehab staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Use sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced, changing mental health environment
- Maintain patient safety while supporting therapeutic, trauma-informed care
- Document care in the EHR and complete routine monitoring, including vitals and point-of-care glucose checks
- Contribute to a positive team culture focused on respect, flexibility, and excellent patient outcomes
- Consistent weekday schedule with no call requirements
