Job Title: Physician Assistant- Location: Austin Texas 78745
- Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (first week); 4-week orientation program
- Schedule: 3-4 days a week (32-40 hours per week), includes working every other weekend
- Hours of business: are 8:30am-7:30pm M-F, 9am-5:30pm Sat, 9am-4:30pm Sun
- Pay Rate : $77.00-80.00 an hour
- Benefits : available to full-time employees after 90 days
Position Summary
Physician Assistants work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a panel of patients. This role focuses on improving patient outcomes through accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions.The Physician Assistant will report directly to the Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary and family care, including:
- Patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Management of acute and chronic conditions
- Health counseling and education
- Disposition planning
- Perform administrative duties such as:
- Opening and closing the clinic
- Inventory management
- Patient follow-up
- Insurance verification and payment collection
- Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment
- Conduct routine examinations and diagnostic testing
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Promote healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care
- Support services including:
- Health screenings
- Behavioral health
- Wellness programs
- Chronic condition management
- Completion of a Physician Assistant program
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current National Board Certification
- Active state license to practice
- 1 year of primary or urgent care experience preferred
