Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Details- Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required as needed within scope of practice
- Uses Allscripts EMR system
- 13-week contract length
- Active OH or Compact RN license required in-hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA certs required; RQI certs acceptable) required prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Allscripts charting experience preferred
- Two recent professional references required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty (co-worker references not accepted)
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Local candidates within the radius are not accepted
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
