Shift: Days | 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Weekly Guarantee: 40 Hours
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center. This role involves providing high-quality care in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Provide care during:
- Left and right heart catheterizations
- Swan-Ganz (pulmonary artery) monitoring
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float within scope based on facility needs
- Day shifts: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4 shifts/week)
- On-call required (evenings and weekends)
- No block scheduling available
- Minimum 18 months RN experience (2 years preferred)
- Active RN license
- BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Experience in:
- Diagnostic & interventional Cath Lab
- Cardiac catheterizations (left/right heart)
- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Procedural sedation
- Previous travel experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Strong adaptability in high-acuity environments
- 332-bed teaching hospital
- Short-term acute care setting
- Charting system: EPIC
- Scrub color: Ceil Blue
