Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience for a travel contract in the San Francisco area, with first-time travelers welcome.
Details- Home health setting serving the San Francisco area, with potential coverage of surrounding counties to be discussed during the interview process
- Patient population includes home health, wound care, and geriatric home health patients
- Minimum of 23–24 patient visits per week
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00), no weekends required
- On-call is discretionary and not required
- Charting is completed using Kinnser/WellSky; all charting must be done on-site and cannot be taken home
- Contract length is 4–6 months; less experienced clinicians are required to complete a 6-month contract
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from first to last patient visit (does not include travel to or from home)
- Local candidates are welcome; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility qualify under the local rate
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience as a PT required
- Current, valid state PT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- No pending licenses accepted; valid license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Experience with home health and geriatric patient populations preferred
- Must be a self-starter with strong time management and punctuality
- Ability to complete charting on-site using a provided tablet
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial application; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made
- COVID vaccination is required; religious declinations are accepted. Flu vaccination declination is accepted with documentation
- Compliance onboarding may take 2–3 weeks; all required documents must be in order before the clinician can begin seeing patients
- Any color scrubs and closed-toe shoes are required
- Free residential parking is available
- Tablet provided by the facility for on-site charting
