Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift in Sioux Falls, SD. 8-week travel nursing assignment (May 3, 2026 – June 28, 2026) with competitive weekly pay. Deliver exceptional patient-centered care on a busy Med/Surg unit while enjoying Sioux Falls' parks, dining, and welcoming community.
Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- Location: Sioux Falls, SD 57108 (travel nursing assignment — South Dakota)
- Assignment Duration: 8 weeks (May 3, 2026 – June 28, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (travel RN night shift)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Nursing Unit 101 – Med/Surg
- Scrubs: Navy scrubs required
- Employment Type: Travel RN / Short-term assignment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or an active compact RN license (travel nursing eligibility)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, communication, and teamwork skills
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions; report changes to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records
- Educate and support patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
