Controls Engineer

The role involves managing multiple projects of varying complexity, delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions on time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Design and develop HMI and PLC programming for our clients equipment, including turnkey solutions that integrate seamlessly with customer systems.-Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, including standard component selection, schematic development, control panel layout, bill of materials, terminal box layouts, and component tag generation.-Support the creation of various documentation, such as wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, conduit schedules, harness lists, instrument lists, I/O lists, and other documents as specified by customer requirements.-Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed client specifications and/or clients standards.-Ensure control systems comply with relevant safety standards, participating in risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.-Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) onsite, with or without customer presence.-Provide diagnostic and troubleshooting support for control system issues, both on-site and remotely.-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance control system designs and improve operational efficiency.
