Forklift Operator
Outdoor Forklift Operator – Fencing Company
We are hiring an experienced Outdoor Forklift Operator to support our fencing installation crews by safely handling and transporting materials on job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to load, unload, and move fencing materials
- Transport posts, panels, pallets, and hardware across job sites
- Safely secure and balance all loads
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues
- Follow all site safety rules and traffic procedures
- Assist with staging and organizing materials for crews
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Support general labor tasks when needed
Requirements:
- Prior forklift operating experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Attention to safety and detail
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a crew
- Must be reliable and punctual
Important Requirement:
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening, including THC testing

- Inspect forklift daily and report maintenance or safety issues
- Secure and balance loads to prevent shifting or damage
- Follow all site safety rules and traffic flow guidelines
- Assist crew with material staging and organization
- Communicate clearly with manager and ground crew
- Maintain awareness of pedestrians, terrain, and site hazards
- Perform basic equipment cleaning and upkeep
- Support general labor tasks when forklift use is not required
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
