Food Service Utility Worker (Dishwasher)

Position Overview:

The position also supports the kitchen team by assisting with setup, moving supplies, and helping maintain an efficient and organized workplace.

This position is located in Staten Island, New York.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and organized kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Wash dishes, utensils, equipment, and food preparation surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen areas.
• Remove trash and sanitize garbage containers.
• Move supplies, equipment, and products between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet setup and front-of-house support as needed.
• Load, unload, and distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of dishwashing experience required.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment required.
• Knowledge of washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment required.
• Ability to follow sanitation and safety standards required.
• Experience cleaning food preparation areas and supporting kitchen operations required.
• Ability to assist with kitchen setup and related tasks required.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork required.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, moving supplies, and standing for extended periods required.

Pay Range: USD $18.72 - USD $18.72 /Hr.
