Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
Details- Position is in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730
- 36 hours per week
- 7 weekends required per 8-week block
- Charting is performed in Epic
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
- 13-week contract
- Active Colorado or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing patient health data collection
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible
