Description:
Pediatrics of Southwest Houston is seeking a full-time, experienced Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year in pediatric care. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow, assisting with patient care, conducting exams, performing in-office procedures, and providing patient education. Key responsibilities include:
- Recording vital signs for all visiting patients.
- Ensuring accurate medical documentation for office visits.
- Assisting in scheduling procedures with the hospital.
Requirements:
- Experience managing the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
- Strong teamwork skills in a medical setting.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic lab testing knowledge.
- Proficiency in computer use.
