Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide leadership coverage during a medical leave of absence. This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in a long-term acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across the facility
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical and operational issues during shift
- Enforce compliance with Joint Commission standards and facility policies
- Support staff with clinical decision-making and problem resolution
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and patient care activities
- Minimum 2 years of acute care supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of Joint Commission standards
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
- Active New York State RN License
- License verification through NYSED
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
