We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician in North Austin. You'll be focusing on the installation and removal of mechanical and electrical components in assemblies and sub-assemblies. In this role, you will use hand tools and custom fixtures in a collaborative environment to produce high-quality products on time, while performing inspections and participating in product testing to ensure excellence.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in electro assembly, experience with hand tools and cable assembly/wire harness assembly. There are two shifts available: 7AM-3:30PM AND 3PM-11:30PM, both are Monday through Friday. If you are interested in this role, please email your resume to albert.figueroa@randstadusa.com.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Install and remove mechanical and electrical components in assemblies and sub assemblies per work instructions and/or visual aids. May troubleshoot failed assemblies to determine corrective action.
Uses hand tools and custom fixtures, working in a team environment with other assemblers and support functions to produce products on time and with high level of quality.
Performs validation and inspection of own work and within immediate work area
May become involved with product testing

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 40lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
