DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry (Stroke)Location: Meriden, Connecticut
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week | Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Required Experience- Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Experience with stroke patient care and neurological assessment.
- Telemetry monitoring experience required.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
- Active and unrestricted Connecticut RN License (or Compact License).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification – 1 Year Certification Required (2-year certification will not be accepted).
