Job Description
The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - Richmond VA will:
- Oversee day‑to‑day field operations on 2-3 concurrent commercial projects
- Manage interior renovation projects ranging from $500K-$5M with durations of 3-9 months
- Coordinate subcontractors, foremen, laborers, and carpenters to maintain productivity and quality
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites - stepping in hands‑on when needed
- Communicate proactively with project management and clients, including email updates and delay notifications
- Track schedules, site logistics, and material deliveries to avoid disruptions
- Support occupied renovations requiring phasing, coordination, and client sensitivity
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with project requirements

The Successful Applicant
The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - Richmond VA will have:
- 2-5+ years experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Proven background in commercial interior renovations ($1M-$5M range)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in occupied and fast‑paced environments
- Strong communication skills and basic computer/email proficiency
- Willingness to be hands‑on - from site protection to cleanup when needed
- Experience with small base building or light ground‑up work is a plus
