Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - Richmond VA will:

Oversee day‑to‑day field operations on 2-3 concurrent commercial projects
Manage interior renovation projects ranging from $500K-$5M with durations of 3-9 months
Coordinate subcontractors, foremen, laborers, and carpenters to maintain productivity and quality
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites - stepping in hands‑on when needed
Communicate proactively with project management and clients, including email updates and delay notifications
Track schedules, site logistics, and material deliveries to avoid disruptions
Support occupied renovations requiring phasing, coordination, and client sensitivity
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with project requirements

The Successful Applicant

The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - Richmond VA will have:

2-5+ years experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Proven background in commercial interior renovations ($1M-$5M range)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working in occupied and fast‑paced environments
Strong communication skills and basic computer/email proficiency
Willingness to be hands‑on - from site protection to cleanup when needed
Experience with small base building or light ground‑up work is a plus
