Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.
Details- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting in Denver, CO
- 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
- Charting performed in Epic
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
- Associate's degree (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Required certifications (must be AHA and valid through start date): BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- ACLS and/or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is required
