- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm – 7:00am), 3 nights per week
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required (Med-Surg RN / Medical-Surgical Nurse)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
- Experience with adult medical-surgical patient populations preferred
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for assigned adult med/surg patients
- Conduct nursing assessments, medication administration, wound care, and ongoing patient monitoring
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record and uphold hospital standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to coordinate patient care
- Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants (NAs), and other RNs when assigned as charge nurse
- Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development
- Work in a welcoming small-town community with a supportive healthcare team
