Job Description- Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on project plans and specifications.
- Analyze project requirements, materials, labor, and equipment costs to ensure accurate project budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to review project scopes and timelines.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
- Maintain and update a database of material, labor, and equipment costs for accurate forecasting.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary project details.
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals to internal teams and clients as needed.
- Monitor project budgets and provide updates to ensure alignment with financial goals.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Civil Estimator should have:
- Strong knowledge of construction project estimating and cost analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in civil estimation is preferred.
- Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 USD annually.
