AI Enablement Intern

As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) intern, you will work closely with the Chief Information Officer and key leaders across Kestra. Your primary responsibility will be to create training and drive adoption for the AI tools in place at Kestra, with a focus on M365 Copilot.You will conduct 1-on-1 meetings with leaders to help apply AI tools for their daily work, facilitate function-specific workshops, and build durable resources including a prompt library and adoption scorecard. At the conclusion of the internship, you will deliver a project presentation summarizing your impact and learnings.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Conduct 1-on-1 meetings with key leaders to tailor AI tool usage to their business needs.
- Build and maintain a Kestra-specific prompt library of reusable, role-tailored prompts for common leadership tasks such as drafting communications, summarizing meetings, analyzing data, and building presentations.
- Design and facilitate function-specific “AI in a Day” mini-workshops (60–90 minutes) for key departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, Clinical, HR), with examples and relevant use cases relevant to each
- Develop an AI Adoption Scorecard tracking leader engagement, use cases adopted, and barriers to adoption; compile a time-savings and ROI summary for the final presentation.
- Develop training materials for AI tools deployed at Kestra, with emphasis on M365 Copilot.
- Gather feedback and iterate on training resources to maximize adoption and effectiveness.
- Support the documentation and communication of best practices for AI tool usage.
- Project Presentation: At internship end, the internship project results and findings will be presented to the IT team and Kestra Executive Leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience Required:
- Enrolled as an undergraduate student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a closely related major.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot or other generative and agentic AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, or similar large language model-based applications)
- Strong communication skills and an interest in learning about application of AI to business objectives
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good organizational and presentation skills.

- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter
- (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past 6 months
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment with Kestra Medical Technologies
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must complete a criminal and employment background screening that meets the allowable FDA requirements and is in accordance with EEOC rules and regulations
- Must complete a pre-internship drug screen
- Frequent repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage
- Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Frequent computer use
- Frequent phone and other business machine use
- Occasional lifting required, up to 20 pounds

This role is an in-office position Monday - Thursday, in Kirkland, Washington with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
