Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience on night shift.
Details- Inpatient Med/Surg Tele unit within a large academic hospital setting
- Patient population includes General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics cases
- Estimated patient ratio of 1:4-5
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate nursing skills required
- Prior Epic EMR experience required
- Provide direct patient care across General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics patient populations
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- No break-in-service required when changing representation between assignments at this facility (exception: Sterile Processing Techs require a 30-day break)
