Job Details- Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Med/Surg RN)

- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Unit Setting: Medical-Surgical / Med-Surg
- Active RN license in the state of assignment or compact license in good standing
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS accepted in lieu of BLS when applicable
- Dysrhythmia exam required
- Experience in Med/Surg nursing and telemetry preferred
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Ability to provide safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards and policies
- Monitor telemetry, manage drips, and support patients with varying levels of acuity
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge needs
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and positive outcomes across the unit
- Provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism in a busy clinical setting
