Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Lead, train, and schedule F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel
- Enforce company standards for food quality, presentation, service, hygiene, and safety
- Monitor guest experience and proactively resolve customer complaints or service issues
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate service goals, promotions, and operational updates
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS system accuracy, and end-of-shift reconciliations
- Monitor inventory levels; coordinate ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to minimize waste
- Support cost control initiatives by managing labor, food costs, and beverage costs
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure timely and accurate food service
- Evaluate employee performance and support onboarding, training, and coaching initiatives
- Assist with menu implementation, promotions, and special events execution
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe front-of-house and service areas
- Prepare operational reports, incident logs, and performance summaries as required
- Ensure adherence to company policies, licensing requirements, and local regulations
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in food and beverage operations, restaurant supervision, or hospitality services
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a fast‑paced service environment
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, service standards, and customer experience best practices
- Familiarity with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations (e.g., local health codes, ServSafe)
- Ability to train, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic reporting tools
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control processes
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints professionally and efficiently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required by the role
- Basic computer skills (scheduling software, email, spreadsheets)
- Alcohol service certification (TIPS or equivalent) preferred, where applicable
