What You'll Be Doing:

• Crafting and optimizing programs for CNC Lathes, Mills, and Waterjets to produce top-notch components.
• Kicking off each shift with a quick catch-up with the CNC Supervisor to stay updated on production goals and schedules.
• Ensuring maximum productivity by smartly grouping and scheduling jobs.
• Collaborating with supervisors and other team members to tackle any production challenges.
• Helping with machine setup and operation to keep things running smoothly.
• Documenting setup procedures to guide operators in configuring machines correctly.
• Working closely with operators to ensure all parts meet customer specs.
• Utilizing your expertise to improve manufacturing methods and enhance efficiency.
• Training and mentoring machine operators to upskill the team.
• Providing insights for sales quotes and pricing when needed.
• Staying organized and preparing for future jobs by setting up tools and equipment ahead of time.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspacebecause safety first!

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer, ideally with a background in the food industry.
