- Travel Position Note: No local candidates within 50 miles — open to travel RNs
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience (critical care nurse experience required)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; state-specific licensure as required
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
- CCRN certification preferred (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
- Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drips
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a mixed ICU/IMCU environment
- EMR experience preferred (e.g., Epic or Cerner)
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in ICU and IMCU settings
- Monitor patient conditions closely, administer medications, and titrate infusions per protocol
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document patient progress
- Manage ventilators, advanced airway care, and hemodynamic support as indicated
- Respond to emergencies, participate in codes, and provide advanced life support when needed
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
