Compensation Structure- Emerging (0–8 years): $47.08/hour
- Seasoned (9–15 years): $58.85/hour
- Expert (16–21 years): $68.90/hour
Position Overview
The Director of Diagnostic Imaging provides strategic and operational leadership for all imaging services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, maintaining regulatory compliance, and optimizing departmental performance.The Director leads a multidisciplinary team, enhances workflow efficiency, and supports initiatives that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations- Oversee daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department
- Lead and mentor a team of technologists and supervisors (~50 FTEs)
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care
- Implement and monitor performance and quality improvement initiatives
- Manage departmental budget, equipment, and supply utilization
- Drive cost-effective operations and resource optimization
- Support capital planning and equipment lifecycle management
- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Align departmental goals with organizational objectives
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational excellence initiatives
- Associate Degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- ARRT Certification required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
- At least 1 year of leadership experience at the Director level required
