As a Weekend OTR Dispatcher, you will be the unsung hero coordinating long-haul fleets, tackling breakdowns like a boss, and making sure drivers and customers never miss a beat!
This wonderful opportunity with Quality Staffing starts at $40,000/annually working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Upon the satisfactory completion of a temporary trial period with us, a permanent hire by our client may result in a significant annual increase, bringing the salary up to $50k-$55k.

Duties & Responsibilities:-Awareness of real-time driver locations using GPS and dispatch software, providing timely updates to drivers on their routes and any changes.-Monitoring of load status, proactively addressing delays or issues.-Collaborate with day shift dispatchers as well as resolution of previous night shift issues.-Maintain accurate records of all communication and dispatch activities.-Update customers as needed.-Primary contact for breakdowns, being the lead for resolving simple issues as well as the coordinator for complex issues involving maintenance and third parties.-Repower loads with other drivers in the area.-Responsibility for driver pay audit daily.
