Part-Time Finance Assistant – High-Volume Toyota Dealership (Houston Metro)
Our dealership is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Part-Time Finance Assistant to support a busy Finance & Insurance (F&I) department. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient processing of automotive transactions and maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare and organize deal jackets for submission to lenders
- Review contracts for completeness and accuracy prior to funding
- Input and update deal information in dealership management systems
- Coordinate with sales and finance managers to facilitate timely deal processing
- Monitor funding progress and follow up with financial institutions as needed
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems in compliance with company standards
- Assist with title, registration, and payoff documentation
- Manage incoming and outgoing finance-related communications
- Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of customer financial records
- Provide administrative support to the F&I team as needed
Requirements
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Flexible part-time availability, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
Education and/or Experience- High School Diploma or GED required; additional coursework in business or accounting preferred
- Prior administrative or dealership experience preferred
- Exposure to automotive finance or dealership systems is beneficial
