Responsibilities- Coil Management: Load, position, and thread heavy metal coils into the machine. Monitor the feed to ensure continuous operation and replace exhausted coils promptly.
- Machine Operation: Oversee the stamping and cutting process, ensuring the machine is running at peak efficiency and output meets quality standards.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on machines to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Visually inspect finished parts for defects and ensure precise cuts according to specifications.
- Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocol
- Heavy lifting- Regularly lifting, pushing and pulling heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing 8 hours a day
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is required
