Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Sugar Land, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and proficiency with Mako Robotics and total joint replacement procedures.
Details- Hospital-based Operating Room setting in Sugar Land, TX
- Day shift schedule, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- On-call is required for this position
- Procedures include General, GYN, ENT, Orthopedic, Urology, and Vascular cases
- Total joint replacement and Mako Robotics experience is central to this role
- Direct patient care and contact required
- On-site work location
- Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license is required
- All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Hands-on experience with Mako Robotics and robotic-assisted surgery required
- Experience with total joint replacement procedures required
- Full Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Collaborates with physicians and the surgical team to deliver patient care using the nursing process
- Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and medical record maintenance
- Experience with neuro spine surgery and pediatric OR cases is a plus
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
