Art Director

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualizing highly creative ideas for the brand. Creativity and design best practices must be present from concept to execution
• Executing the design hands-on with an extremely keen eye for detail
• Understand the brand by working collaboratively with all staff and partners in order to ensure proper strategy and overall consistency are maintained.
• Autonomously work, multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
• Formulate concepts and takes the lead in executing solutions that answers the client challenge and reflect the strategy aligned in the creative brief
• Present work confidently and clearly to clients and senior leadership
• Own the visual brand story for our clients across all social, digital and PR channels, maintaining a consistent look, feel and vision
• Manage the quality and approve design for a range of creative work
• Manage a junior designer, ensuring concepts and directions are properly executed for ongoing deliverables. Work with and manage third party creatives on a case by case basis.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in marketing, advertising or social media, with significant emphasis on social media
• Design experience required
• Experience managing and mentoring designers
• Strong animation, video and photo production experience
• Ability to think strategically, conceptualize creatively and see the concept through to polished design and build
• Social fluency and a solid understanding of how to drive conversation and engagement across social channels
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
