Travel Med/Surg RN – San Antonio, TX | 13-week travel RN, $1,460–$1,540/week. Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Med/Surg, rehab, surgical, or respiratory nursing experience.
Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
- Location: San Antonio, TX 78207 (San Antonio healthcare, Texas nursing jobs)
- Setting: Med/Surg, Rehab, Surgical, Respiratory units
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 21, 2026)
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-site
- Temp-to-Perm: Possible (opportunity for travel RN to permanent placement)
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state (Registered Nurse)
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year Med/Surg or related nursing experience (Med-Surg RN)
- BSN preferred
- Epic charting / EHR experience preferred
- Trach/vent and high-flow (Hi-Flo) experience recommended
- Rehab nursing experience recommended
- Deliver routine and complex nursing care across med/surg, rehab, surgical, and respiratory units
- Apply the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor effectiveness and adverse reactions
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided in the EHR (Epic preferred)
- Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Delegate and coordinate tasks with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care
