The Opportunity
As Surgery Center Administrator, you will serve as the senior operational leader for the facility, overseeing day-to-day operations while partnering closely with physicians, staff, governing boards, and corporate leadership. You will have direct influence on quality outcomes, financial results, operational efficiency, and patient experiencewhile helping position the center for continued growth and long-term success.
What Youll Do- Provide overall leadership for daily facility operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions
- Act as the primary liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and corporate home office
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, quality, and patient safety standards
- Develop, manage, and oversee operating, staffing, and capital budgets
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and implement operational improvements
- Lead workforce planning, staffing, and employee performance management
- Build and maintain strong physician relationships, supporting credentialing and medical staff coordination
- Oversee vendor, service, and physician contracts
- Champion quality improvement initiatives, infection control efforts, and patient experience programs
- Participate in operational reviews and performance reporting
- Identify and execute opportunities for service line expansion and operational growth
- 25+ years of leadership experience in an ASC or surgical services environment
- Proven management experience with strong operational expertise
- Bachelors degree required
- Background as an ASC Administrator or Director of Surgical Services in an acute care hospital with ASC exposure
- A collaborative, engaging leader who builds trust with physicians and staff
- Growth-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and lead across multiple stakeholders
- No travel required
- Base Salary: $110,000 $150,000
- Quarterly Bonus: $2,000 - $7,500 based on case load results
- Annual Target Bonus: 17% of base salary as target
