Our client is seeking a professional Part-Time Stenographer to accurately document proceedings during large meetings held once a month. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals with exceptional listening, typing, and attention-to-detail skills who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend and transcribe the full proceedings of large monthly meetings
• Produce accurate, timely transcripts in accordance with client requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Collaborate with meeting organizers to clarify terminology or complex topics, as needed
• Ensure all transcripts are delivered within established deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a stenographer or transcription specialist
• Excellent command of English, grammar, and punctuation
• Strong typing speed and accuracy
• Familiarity with stenographic or transcription technology/software
• Ability to work independently and reliably for scheduled, monthly events
• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
• Strong proficiency in managing executive calendars and scheduling.
• Familiarity with booking and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in using office software and tools for scheduling and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
