Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring strong labor and delivery experience and multiple certifications including NRP and BLS.
Details- Day shift position, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- Labor & Delivery unit with exposure to postpartum and newborn stabilization
- Newborn stabilization skills are a core part of the role
- Active CA RN license required, unrestricted and in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required; 3–4 years of overall RN experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- NRP certification required within 6 months of employment, recertified every 2 years
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within 6 months of employment, recertified every 2 years
- ACLS preferred; if working in applicable units, must be certified within 6 months of employment
- STABLE certification strongly recommended; experience with newborn stabilization required
- Nursery experience (any level) and postpartum experience preferred
- No prior hits on RN license
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Candidates must have worked in the L&D specialty within the last 3 months
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer; requests exceeding 5 days will result in automatic disqualification
- Two supervisor references required — one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
