Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level I Trauma Center position requiring general OR and trauma experience with an active MI RN license.
Details- Center
- Primarily adult patient population
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day/evening rotating shifts (7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p) or straight evenings
- Weekend call required in 8-hour blocks (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a)
- Up to 4 weeknight calls and 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Weeknight and weekend call required
- No floating required
- Uses Epic charting system

- BLS and CAC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of OR experience required
- General OR and Trauma experience required
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Epic experience required
- 2 supervisory references required (charge nurse references not accepted)
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions; allergy-free option available if needed
- , perform staff may return as travelers after 1 year of separation
- No RTO permitted during the first week of the contract
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
