SUMMARY OF JOB:
The first cook is directly responsible for overseeing the preparation of all food and beverage items . The position requires that the successful candidate be able to prepare meals for three to 15 people. Sometimes the number of people coming for a meal is known at short notice so adaptive capabilities are helpful.Responsibilities also include ordering food and meal planning. Knowledge of special diets and consistencies is a plus but not required.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have at least 5 years of experience in high-volume production and be certified in sanitation. A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred but not required.Must be able to read, write, and take verbal direction. Must be flexible in scheduling and available for weekend rotation.
