Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.
Details- Located in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab unit
- Day shift schedule, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current AHA BLS certification required (must not expire prior to start date)
- ACLS may be required as appropriate for the unit
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment, including delegated medical functions
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
