Mechanical Assembler

The ideal candidate has a mechanical aptitude, can read assembly drawings and blueprints, and works well independently and as part of a production team.

education: High School

• Assemble packaging machinery and equipment according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Install and align mechanical components including valves, pneumatic cylinders, motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, and related hardware
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical assembly and equipment installation
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions
• Perform drilling, tapping, measuring, fitting, and alignment of machine components
• Assemble pneumatic and mechanical systems to specification
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit, function, and quality standards
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make adjustments as needed during assembly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing work environment
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and production teams to complete projects on schedule
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
