Position Summary

Kent Island Resort is seeking friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agents to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing reservations and check-in/check-out processes, and ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a guest-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression of the resort
  • Promote and embody the VIVAMEE Virtues in all guest and team interactions
  • Process guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
  • Maintain accurate records and process payments using the property management system (PMS)
  • Ensure front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and cash-handling protocols
Qualifications
  • Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and experience with reservation systems (PMS experience preferred)
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform front desk duties consistently
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
Compensation & Benefits
  • $19.00 per hour (non-exempt, overtime eligible)
