Position Summary
Kent Island Resort is seeking friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agents to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing reservations and check-in/check-out processes, and ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.
This is a highly visible role that requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a guest-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression of the resort
- Promote and embody the VIVAMEE Virtues in all guest and team interactions
- Process guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and promptly
- Provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
- Maintain accurate records and process payments using the property management system (PMS)
- Ensure front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and cash-handling protocols
- Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with reservation systems (PMS experience preferred)
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform front desk duties consistently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- $19.00 per hour (non-exempt, overtime eligible)
