responsibilities:
- Take ownership of significant capital projects, from initial justification through the successful implementation of new tooling and equipment.
- Partner closely with a dedicated team of process technicians to execute projects and troubleshoot production issues, acting as a project leader without managing direct reports.
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods for individual assembly cells, specifically focusing on brazing, stamping, bending, and fabrication.
- Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, quality, capacity, and safety across the production floor.
- Develop process flows, SOPs, and work instructions for incoming equipment while performing root cause analysis to sustain high-quality manufacturing standards.
