Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance services on Kenworth trucks, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspension systems, steering components, and braking systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and electrical systems using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair emissions control systems, including DPF, DEF, EGR, and SCR components.
- Perform engine performance testing and identify mechanical or electronic faults.
- Conduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet all federal, state, and company safety standards.
- Complete work orders accurately and document repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with roadside repairs and emergency breakdowns as needed.
- Collaborate with fleet managers and drivers to identify maintenance concerns and minimize downtime.
