🏥 Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Special Procedures Technologist (Interventional Radiology) to support advanced imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role involves assisting with minimally invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
âś… Must-Have Skills:
âś” Strong Interventional Radiology (IR) experienceâś” ARRT Certification
âś” BLS (Basic Life Support)
âś” Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced environment
âś” Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
đź“Ś Experience Required:
âś” Minimum 3 years of experienced as a Interventional Radiology requiredâś” Hospital setting experience preferred
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure quality imaging
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety and comfort
- Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
- Document procedures accurately in EMR (Cerner)
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
