Overview:

Our Back of House Team is made up of talented Line Cooks and Prep Cooks who work together seamlessly to create scratch-made dishes in a fast-paced environment. This position supports Firebirds Wood Fired Grill’s Corporate Office Catering Kitchen, producing high-quality food for internal events, meetings, and corporate catering initiatives.

Back of House Team Members work alongside the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to create an extraordinary experience through attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities:

  • Work efficiently while producing a high-quality product in a timely manner
  • Maintain proper hygiene and uniform standards
  • Practice safe food handling and equipment usage
  • Keep your station neat, clean, and organized
  • Complete closing and weekly cleaning checklists
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Support corporate catering production needs with professionalism and consistency

Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working kitchen knowledge (scratch kitchen experience preferred)
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and frequently lift items up to 35 pounds
  • Maintain positive working relationships with team members
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be 18 years or older
