Event Marketing Manager II
Summary
Client is seeking a highly organized, systems-driven Event Operations Manager (Contractor) to build, optimize, and manage the operational infrastructure for our Third-Party Events team. Unlike a traditional event coordination role focused on execution or onsite hospitality, this contract position is strictly dedicated to operational backbone development, data integrity, tool management, and logistics planning.
Reporting directly to the Sr. Event Marketing Manager (Third Party), you will design the scalable frameworks, project tracking systems, and data pipelines necessary to support the team as they scale Tier 1 sponsorships and third-party industry events.
Responsibilities
Operational Blueprinting: Create and optimize scalable operational models for third-party event workflows by analyzing past program operational performance and feedback.
Project Management & System Setup: Establish and build out tracking templates, master project plans, DACI frameworks, accountability matrices, and communication roadmaps within corporate collaboration tools.
Budget Support & Compliance: Operationalize the tracking of event expenses, contracts, and vendor processing steps to maintain alignment with internal corporate compliance standards.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Document highly detailed, repeatable standard operating procedures for third-party programs to streamline enablement for internal marketing and sales stakeholders.
Systems, Data & MarTech Management
Lead Flow Frameworks: Partner closely with Marketing Operations to define and structure the backend lead capture parameters, automated lead ingestion workflows, and lead flow routing into marketing automation and CRM platforms.
Data Integrity & Metrics Setup: Act as a metrics-driven operator, setting up data tracking frameworks, to ensure accurate reporting out of tools like Salesforce.
Technology Utilization: Serve as the system administrator and technical lead for the events team across primary tools such as Salesforce, Asana, and Drupal.
Requirements
Experience Profile: 5+ years of dedicated experience specializing in event operations, marketing operations, or project management frameworks within high-growth B2B enterprise technology environments.
Operational Focus: A proven track record built around infrastructure, systems administration, and logistics data
MarTech System Proficiency: Extensive technical comfort navigating enterprise software ecosystems including Salesforce CRM, Asana project management, Rainfocus or alternate registration tools, and data visualization tools.
Data Mastery: A detail-oriented, metrics-driven approach with advanced capabilities in building tracking systems, structuring data pipelines, and manipulating Excel files.
Communication & Alignment: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft concise operational briefs, facilitate alignment meetings, and coordinate across cross-functional parameters.
Experienced with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail), Mac, and technology literate
