Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will report into the Project Manager and Quality Leadership team, playing a key role in ensuring quality standards across mission critical construction projects.- Manage and enforce project-specific quality control plans and procedures
- Conduct inspections, audits, and documentation to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with field and MEP teams to resolve quality issues proactively
- Support submittals, RFIs, and project documentation with a quality-first mindset
- Track and report quality metrics, deficiencies, and corrective actions
- Assist with commissioning readiness and turnover for critical systems
- Maintain strong communication with subcontractors and internal teams

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- 3-5+ years of commercial construction experience with QA/QC exposure
- Experience working for a general contractor (required)
- Mission critical, data center, or complex industrial experience required
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction sequencing
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and construction management tools
- Experience with inspections, testing, and documentation processes
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel across Texas or relocate as required
