Schedule:
Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
Highlights:
- 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry capabilities serving adult patients
- Patient ratios of 1:5-7, with acuity-based assignment optimization
- 13-week contract with potential for extension
- Collaborative interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Cerner EMR system with 12 hours of orientation provided
- Dynamic environment with diverse acute medical conditions and comprehensive clinical support
Requirements:
- Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact state license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (American Heart Association preferred)
- Experience with telemetry, patient ratio of 1:6 or higher preferred
- Proficiency with skills including telemetry monitoring, IV management, central line care, blood product administration, wound care, isolation precautions, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Reliable attendance record and strong commitment to scheduled shifts
