Job Description- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align estimates with project requirements.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine project scope and costs.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for competitive pricing.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with initial estimates and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on project financial performance.
- Stay informed of market trends, material costs, and industry standards to enhance estimating practices.
