Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient and orthopedic experience for a rural healthcare clinic in Buena Vista, CO.
Details- Outpatient setting within a rural healthcare clinic in Buena Vista, CO
- Focus on orthopedic and outpatient patient populations
- Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 10-hour shifts
- 12-week contract
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient and orthopedic care
- Active CO Physical Therapist license required; a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination may be accepted
- Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy
- Current CPR certification required
- Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or American Registry of Physical Therapy
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
- Responsibilities include patient assessments, developing and modifying individualized therapeutic intervention plans, and maintaining accurate patient records including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Role includes a focus on injury prevention and promoting health and wellness across all age groups
