Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in a designated area, ensuring that facilities are sanitary, safe, and welcoming for all occupants. This role includes a variety of tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
General Duties:
- Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Cleaning tasks range from high dusting, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, floor care, etc.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Driver's license, will drive a company vehical
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, etc.).
Work Hours: Day-shift on call. Must be able to work all hours as needed. Weekends and Holidays
6:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.7:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
