- Patient Diagnoses : Hard stop:Candidate must have inpatient experience includingsterile compounding (within last 6 months) Special Procedures/Unit Details : Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin in our Inpatient Pharmacy.We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to: Dispense, compound, and deliver medications throughout University Hospital and American Family Children s Hospital.
Contribute to inventory management Ensure safe, high quality, and efficient patient care through medication management Collaborate with pharmacy team members and utilize various pharmacy technologies and automation Prepare sterile compounds under appropriate processes and proceduresThe ideal person will be team-motivated, pay high attention to detail, and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Special Equipment : Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred #Tier3 Travel Compliance Floating : Travelers are required to float as needed.
Local Rule : 50 miles from the facility.
Locals not accepted.Minimum experience : Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to.

Pass /Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria.A telemetry exam will be required prior to start.
The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass.
If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned.If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
